Sweet Corn: 3 for $1...

My neighbor Veronica drove us to Farmer’s Market. Corn was 3 for $2. Then I took her to Farmer’s Choice: 3 corn for $1 (sometimes 4 for $1).  She boiled hers, then tasted mine. Her face lit up. Are you a gourmand on a budget? We have the tiniest baby zucchini and other summer squash, Brussels Sprouts, asparagus, and Rappini. Our Rappini is from Andy Boy, wrapped in a Pink label, because they support the fight against breast cancer. Plus little heirloom or Roma or big on the vine tomatoes.
